Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification- Nevada

All adult offenders and certain juvenile offenders convicted of certain sex offenses and crimes against children after 1956 and released on parole or probation are subject to risk assessment and notification dependent upon assigned level of risk.

Record of registration, fingerprints, photograph, new address or updated information are collected.

Timeframe for Registration:

Within 48 hours of arrival in a county; 48 hours of changing address, within 48 hours of moving into State.

Penalties for Non-Compliance:

Category D felony.

Confidentiality Provision:

It is illegal to use information obtained through this web site to commit a crime against a registered sex offender or to engage in discrimination or harassment against a registered sex offender.  Anyone who uses this information to commit a criminal act against another person is subject to criminal prosecution and/or civil action.
